A decade after my first gig, with a Bachelor’s and a Master’s under my belt, an insatiable thirst for knowledge and discovery and a lot of travels all over the world, I have my dream career. I am a freelance writer.
It all started by accident. A bored student replying to an ad. I was 19 and a Foundation student in London. I lived off Brick Lane and could be found every Saturdays at AntiSocial and every Sundays at Boombox. So that’s what I wrote about. 350 words on a club night called AntiSocial got me a gig as a fashion blogger.
From fashion to art and design, from news, digital tech in education and music to travel and the film industry, I’ve written about a lot of things and have had a blast doing it.
